Our first awesome AGM!

This is a new-something-kind-of-wonderful! Up until this year Camp Evergreen has been owned and operated by the Alberta Mennonite Brethren Conference. But recently we became an independent society! We plan on maintaining our relationship with the Mennonite Brethren Conference but there are many exciting new things that being a society will mean!
One of them is that we get to have a party once a year for our members and those planning on becoming members! Okay - well, party + meeting. There's going to be tours and activities (for the WHOLE family) and our first awesome AGM. Check it out:

Here's a bit more information on memberships and our AGM :
Camp Evergreen is an independent society, under Alberta, which means that our members get together once a year at our Annual General Meeting. During our AGM, we share about what's happening at the camp; we talk about opportunities to get involved; and we invite members to give feedback on our direction as an organization. We also "take care of business" by presenting our financial statements and budget, and elect our board of directors.

If you are already a member of the Camp Evergreen Society or are interested in joining us in membership, we'd like to invite you to our first annual Day of Celebration and Annual General Meeting on Saturday, May 12, 2012.
We want membership at Camp Evergreen to be a joy, so we've combined our AGM with the opportunity to experience some of the Camp's great activities. Additionally, our staff team will provide childcare during the meeting, so please feel free to bring your family. After all: Camp Evergreen is a ministry to Alberta's kids and youth!
To RSVP for the Day of Celebration and AGM, please contact Becca at apd@camp-evergreen.com, or 403-638-4230, and let her know how many people from your family we can expect!
