spring is here!! (almost)

greetings. c-bear reporting.

the snow is melting and everything is getting muddy out here. unfortunately it's just part of the story. i don't think that we could have spring without mud out here. it's supposed to be something beautiful like 14 degrees today and 15 tomorrow. awesome. but i hear that we're in for a bit of cooler weather and more snow. but it always happens. we're just about in april and that means the trees will start budding and the mud will start drying and SPRING will be right on it's way to ... way for it ... SUMMER!

over the next few weeks, i'll be updating this twice a week. once will be to feature a camp and the other will just to say hello. i'll have some updated pictures of the building next week - i just don't have my camera with me right now.

ah man! summer. hundreds of excited screaming kids and camps...lots of camps - and camp staff! hey, i'd love to hear about what your favorite part of camp is! i'm starting to play programs and set up the schedules so i'd love to take some suggestions.

here comes summer!

my fave part of Camp is M.I. and getting duty. (i like mud)
meatting new people that carival game, sleeping yodl and hum fun fun fun pulling panks on the other cabins near by. b-ball, archry, skill,and beening away form my brother!!!!
and drip drip drop I LOVE EVERTHING ABOUT CAMP exept the misctos.

My favorite parts of camp are the HORSES. I luv horses. Making new friends is really great. Staying in a cabin full of people ur own age is sooo fun.

C-Bear, I may not be a camper, but I have to say that 'Drip, Drip, Drop' is my most favourite Camp Evergreen game of all time. And, I'm not exaggerating here -- I really mean it. What's more fun than getting wet on a hot day and even better, getting other people wet on a hot day?!

Jug 'n' Jog. If the world could just play more Jug 'n' Jog - I think it would be a happier place. It is quite possibly the number one, most singularly enjoyed game at camp. thanks for stopping by. this is a new thing for us so bear with us as we figure out technology. basically we started this blog to create a place where all of our friends can come visit us 24/7/365. and by friends i mean you...yeah you...campers, kids who visit us from schools, church groups, retreaters...and anybody you might haul along for the ride. we'll keep you informed as to what's on the dL as far as programming goes and what the happenings are at camp...and maybe some funny stories to go along with those. please check out Camp Evergreen's main site for any contact information. well - i've gotta get and start prepping for our sr. high retreat this next weekend (sept. 15-17th). until next time this is courtney (aka c-bear...aka cort) signing out. stay strong in his grip.

winter is here

wow. it's definetely winter here. what is it? like -30 or something ridiculous like that. brutal! koda says merry christmas and stay warm! this is going to be short because i really, really want to stress how important it is to get ALL your families out here for December 9th! It's called An Evergreen Christmas and it starts at 1pm and goes until about 7pm. There's sleigh rides (as long as we have snow), cookie decorating, a few crafts, skating, fellowship, some ponyrides, hot chocolate, and a hot dog roast at 5:30pm. please phone the camp's main office (found on the camp's main site) to tell us that you're coming! see you there! cort
