reading week

Last week was Reading Week for students at Prairie Bible College, which meant that we had visitors. Emily and Jasper spent the week painting, cleaning, climbing, inventorying, visiting the Parthenon, and hanging out at the Mustard Seed along with the rest of our seasonal staff (in alphabetical order, that would be Erin, Jason and Kristy). When I was in university, I usually spent Reading Week sleeping or in Manitoba just visiting. Emily and Jasper get gold stars for volunteering their Reading Weeks away.


Emily was kind enough to bestow photographic evidence of their visit upon us, so you can pretend that you were here too!


Stay tuned for May 1 - when our Spring Staff arrive (or, stay right where they are), we're going to profiling each one of them ... Emily, Erin, Jason, Jasper and Kristy included.

Jug 'n' Jog. If the world could just play more Jug 'n' Jog - I think it would be a happier place. It is quite possibly the number one, most singularly enjoyed game at camp. winter is here

wow. it's definetely winter here. what is it? like -30 or something ridiculous like that. brutal! koda says merry christmas and stay warm! this is going to be short because i really, really want to stress how important it is to get ALL your families out here for December 9th! It's called An Evergreen Christmas and it starts at 1pm and goes until about 7pm. There's sleigh rides (as long as we have snow), cookie decorating, a few crafts, skating, fellowship, some ponyrides, hot chocolate, and a hot dog roast at 5:30pm. please phone the camp's main office (found on the camp's main site) to tell us that you're coming! see you there! cort
